The 130th Egton Show will be held on Wednesday 21st August 2019, at Egton, North Yorkshire. This year we will have a wrought iron and farrier display, a farmers market, plus all the usual horse, cattle, sheep, goat, ferret, fur and feather classes. There will also be the bee keeping, produce and handicraft and the children's sections.
The showground is open from 8:30am, with the first judging in the main ring at 8:45am through to 5pm. On the day entry for adults is £8 and school children (under 16) £3. Savings can be made by buying advance tickets.
Egton is one of the largest village shows in the
country run by a band of voluntary helpers. If you would like
to contribute time to the Show you would be very welcome. Please
contact the General Secretary if you are interested.
Our Chairman is Mr Nick Gallon and this year the show president is Mrs B Tindall.

Egton Show is held at Egton Cross, Egton, North Yorkshire. The show postcode is YO21 1TZ. From the A171 Whitby to Guisborough Road, take the turning for Egton. Arriva will be running a bus, which leaves Langbourne Road, Whitby at 9.30, is at Aislaby at 9.39 and arrives at Egton 9.50. This is repeated every hour until 17.30. Buses back from Showfield are at 9.55 then every hour until 17.55 (back in Whitby at 15 mins past the hour.)
